Recognition Programs
- Six awards of $3,000 are presented annually to staff members in recognition of on-going service and contribution to the University. (effective 2003)
- Nominees must have completed at least three years of continuous service with the University of Utah and must be full-time staff employees. Faculty, director-level and higher, part-time hourly staff, District Team members, and UU Staff Council members are not eligible.
- This award is administered through the Office of the Vice President for Human Resources.

Service Awards
- University employees are recognized for continuous service every 5 years with quality gifts of their choosing.
- Staff employees who have 25 or more years of service in increments of 5 years a recognized at the Staff Service Awards luncheon coordinated by the Division of Human Resources.
