Employee Health Care Plan – Eligible Dependents
Employees may enroll their eligible dependents in the Employee Health Care Plan. Eligible dependents include:
- Your spouse; and
- Your or your spouse's unmarried children by birth, placement for legal adoption or foster care, or legal (court-appointed) guardianship granting full guardianship rights, who are under age 26 and dependent on you for more than 50% of their support.
Coverage may be continued for an enrolled dependent child at age 26 in certain circumstances. Your request to continue coverage must be received by the Benefits Department within 3 months of the date of the child’s 26th birthday. Consult the Summary Plan Description or contact the Benefits Department for information.
