Employee Health Care Plan – Dental Coverage
Effective July 1, 2009, all dental co-insurance will be waived and dental services* will be covered at 100% up to the Plan maximum of $2,000.
*orthodontic services not included
The University of Utah has one Dental Option, administered by BlueCross BlueShield. (PLEASE NOTE: You may only enroll in dental coverage if you enroll in one of the medical options). The dental option has no pre-existing condition waiting period.
The Dental Option uses the BlueCross BlueShield Participating Dental Network regardless of which medical network you select. All benefits are paid based on Regence BlueCross BlueShield schedule of eligible dental expenses.
