ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT
The University of Utah's Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Program, provided through The Standard, provides benefits in the event of a covered accident, 24 hours a day, both on and off the job.
Coverage Highlights:
- AD&D Employee Booklet
- AD&D insurance is in addition to any life insurance you may have.
- Coverage is available in an amount ranging from $10,000 up to a maximum of $500,000, in $10,000 increments.
- Employees may choose individual or family coverage. Family coverage includes the employee’s spouse or domestic partner and any unmarried dependent children.
- With family coverage, benefits for the employee’s spouse or domestic partner and children will be a percentage of the employee’s benefit amount.
