Vanguard Retirement Plan Account Transition
Vanguard has notified the University of its desire to discontinue a direct investment provider relationship with the University because they cannot deliver full administrative services while maintaining low costs for their investors. Although Vanguard is not maintaining existing accounts, University representatives have worked with all three of the University's retirement plan investment providers to develop favorable options for affected University employees.
Employees with accounts at Vanguard will receive personalized letters from the University Benefits Department and Vanguard regarding this transition.
Fund Lineup
A total of twenty-one Vanguard funds will be offered by Fidelity Investments and TIAA-CREF in addition to their current fund offerings.

Action You Need to Take
- Transfer your current Vanguard account balance(s) to Fidelity Investments and/or TIAA-CREF.
- Direct future University contributions or supplemental retirement plan deferrals you are currently directing to Vanguard, if any.
