- WellU in partnership with University of Utah Benefits department announce the preventive care benefit has been extended until December 31, 2008! All co-pays and co-insurance in the University of Utah Employee Health Care Plan (University Health Plan, Value Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield) will be waived on any qualifying preventive care service for employees and their enrolled dependents through December 31, 2008. The WellU Employee Wellness Program in coordination with the University of Utah Health Care Plan are pleased to extend this enhanced benefit to all University health plan members. In addition to this extended benefit, we are also pleased to announce that dermatology skin cancer screenings have also been added to the qualifying preventive services list.
